FAQ

What to expect after you request a gun appraisal

How long does a gun appraisal take?

Single firearms and small lots are typically completed in 7 to 10 business days, and often within a week. Larger collections and estates generally take three to four weeks. If you are working against a deadline, tell us in your request and we will confirm up front whether we can meet it, with expedited service available.

What do I need to provide to get a quote?

Clear photos of each firearm, its serial number and markings, any purchase receipts or prior appraisals, and a short note on what the value is for, such as probate, insurance, donation, or divorce.

Is the report prepared in accordance with USPAP?

Yes. Every report is prepared in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), published by The Appraisal Foundation.
